In the middle test, Claude is asked to improve an existing hero section and then generate alternative directions using Figma MCP. The point is not just regeneration from scratch, but comparative improvement grounded in the context of an existing design.

The creator says he would not ship the result unchanged, but he does consider it strong enough to serve as an A/B test candidate. The bigger takeaway is that the model is useful not just for flashy one-offs, but as a base for iterative refinement.

In the test built around modernizing a classic interface like Craigslist, the constraint is to preserve information density and a type-led structure rather than washing everything out with whitespace. The result becomes less a showcase of visual flamboyance and more a test of how faithfully the model follows direction and handles nuance.

The creator ends by arguing that designers will not become unnecessary in the AI era. Instead, their role will shift more toward expressing intent in natural language and steering repeated iterations toward the right outcome. In that sense, Fable 5 looks like it could become a creative partner that works outside Figma.
